The article reports on the partnership of International business Machines (IBM) Corp. and BitDefender to incorporate the antivirus and antispyware technologies into the Internet Security Systems (ISS) division's endpoint security products in the U.S. The move is part of giving users the added protection without the need of implementing additional products in dealing with emerging threat according to IBM ISS executive Greg Adams. The ISS also expect on the availability of integrated data protection programs at its Proventia Desktop Endpoint Security software by the end of 2006.
