    • Abstract:
Information for visitors to Selinunte in Sicily, Italy from Chapter 17 of the book "Frommer's Italy, 2007" is presented. From Palermo, Trapani, or Marsala, one can make rail connections to Castelvetrano on the southern coast of Sicily, 23 kilometers from the ruins. Selinunte is on the southern coast of Sicily and is best explored by car because public transportation is awkward. Selinunte's temples lie in scattered ruins, the honey-colored stone littering the ground, as if an earthquake had struck.
