    • Abstract:
The article reports on the outcome of the survey that involved 321 Information Technology professionals in the U.S. about network misuse. When they asked the respondents on the most unusual network misuse that they had found out on their network, their answers seemed to cast a naive user base. Despite that most companies have a written policy regarding network use and misuse. One of the respondents shared how a group of managers play Doom over their company's network while other said that employees in their company were downloading content from a movie site in Vietnam. Yet, the most naive user was a manager who shared photos with her immediate employees on their regional sales meeting. It is advised for the company to have an internal education program on network misuse.
