- Abstract:
The article features the Pusan film festivals and its significant contribution to the Asian cause. Though it is modelled on European film festivals, it has created a niche for itself by allowing the new talent to showcase their creativity. The festival has also opened up a new plan titled Pusan Promotion Plan (PPP) that helps struggling directors to get seed funding. The plan boosted the new talent and also attracted western film makers.
