The article focuses on a research conducted by Marcia Hacker, assistant professor of nursing at Barry University, who has been working with the Alzheimer's Community Care of West Palm Beach, to analyze the outcomes of their home-based model of care delivery. Over 1600 patients and their families are provided home services by the Alzheimer's Community Care that makes it possible for patients to live at home longer with their families.
