- Abstract:
The article reports on the results of a research conducted by researchers at Harvard University and the Rowland Institute, Jean-Marc Fournier and Jene Golovchenko where they produced optical molecules made up of tiny plastic beads relevant to matter and light. The beads act as optical atoms that are bound together in an intense laser beam. The research indicate that matter can also be held together by photons or the force-carrying particles of light.
