- Abstract:
The article announces the creation of the National Collegiate Foundation by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in the United States to provide scholarship aid to athletes with expired eligibility. NCAA controller, Louis J. Spry stressed that scholarship aid will be provided only to those male and female basketball players if they had failed to complete their undergraduate studies while athletically eligible.
