- Abstract:
The article presents information on the teaching of melody construction in the music schools. The formation of melody is recognized through phrases. A phrase is understood as the complete or incomplete expression of a musical thought or idea. In the same context, a cadence marks a place of rest and applies with equal force to melody or harmony.
