The article examines the interaction between the Internet and the American Culture. Internet is a powerful tool that helps in shaping society and culture. Internet's materiality is as significant to the 21st-century U.S. as the automobile, electric power, or airplane were to the 20th-century U.S. There is no equivalent to the fusion of art, culture, and technology with the Internet. As an information technology, the Internet has a lot to do with culture and art, it carries video, popular music, ideas, and its Web pages reflect a new aesthetics that are borrowed from earlier media. Artists can observe and record the essence of what is going on in the world, before anyone else recognizes it.
