    • Abstract:
The article focuses on the concerns of William E. King, an archivist in the Perkins Library at Duke University, about floppy disks and the readability of computer publications. According to him, for archivists' floppy disks are a problem because each computer writes and reads quite differently, with the result that a disk produced on one computer often cannot be read by other computers. He is also concerned about storage requirements and the readability of computer publications.
