      The article reports on the postponement of action on a bill to revise the Copyright Law in the U.S. The bill is of intense interest to higher educators, both as authors and as users of copyrighted material. Senator John L. McClellan, chairman of the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Patents, Trademarks, and Copyrights, postponed the revision because of disputes over the use of copyrighted material in information storage and retrieval systems.
