    • Abstract:
A definition of the term "Lymphoma" is presented. Lymphomas are diverse neoplasms that begin by the malignant transformation, usually of a T cell, B cell, or natural killer cell, in the lymphatic system. These diseases result from damage to the cell's DNA that results in uncontrolled and excessive growth and confers a survival advantage on the malignant lymphocyte and the cells that are formed from its proliferation.
