The article discusses the author's experience at the 106th annual meeting of the American Society of Microbiology in the U.S. She commented on the nearly 300 exhibits presented during the conference. Many microbiologists wore hiking shorts with backpacks in the carts. All participants enjoyed the event, particularly when some microbiologists started to dance as the James Brown band's classical music was played.
