    • Abstract:
The article reflects the opinion of the author on the claim that environment contributes to the development of autism in children. The author said that the belief pointing environment as one of the factors on the development deficiency in individual can be traced back from one of the observations which states that the prevalence of autism is higher than previously thought, and that its increased might be associated with the changes in the environment. However, an experiment conducted revealed that the presence of thalidomide, valproic acid and emergence of infections such as rubella, both in the environment where the child is exposed has only a subtle effect. The author added that the signs of autism is seen at an early age in which the child has not yet been exposed to the environment.
