    • Abstract:
The article reports on issues arising from the decision of the U.S. Copyright Office to impose copyright regulations that provide federal copyright protection for creative works that are registered with the agency. Owners of copyrighted computer programs complain that the rules will allow competitors to discover protected trade secrets by examining information filed with the Copyright Office. The agency announced the availability of circulars about copyright regulations and procedures including registration for computer programs.
