- Abstract:
The article refers to whole language. The basic tenets of the whole-language are readiness and language. Whole language aims at involving the active learner in vigorous interplay with tasks and teachers who themselves are engaged in learning activity. It also focuses on the significance of learning that is not smooth and certain, and learning goals of students. It is totally opposite to those reading instructions which are based on manuals. The critical future task for whole language is implementation. Teachers should participate in whole-language instruction programs.
