- Abstract:
The article focuses on the data that discusses the correlation between the infant and fetal mortality and nuclear weapons tests in the U.S. The data were offered by Ernest J. Sternglass for a close correlation between a leveling off in the decline of the fetal and infant mortality rates and the onset of the Nevada nuclear weapons tests in the atmosphere. According to the data, a similar correlation exists for the onset of hydrogen bomb tests in the Pacific in 1954. In addition, a similar pattern in the registered fetal death rate exists in the data.
