Coexistence and the Kremlin.

The article tracks the changes happening on Soviet Union's policies, specifically its concept of coexistence of capitalism and socialism. During the Bolshevik Revolution, the concept of coexistence in the sense that it signifies the absence of military conflict with capitalism was still in great doubt. Yet during the time of Vlademir Lenin and Joseph Stalin, a probability of coexistence between the capitalists and socialists was considered although its temporary. At the end of the war until 1952, the Union adhered to a defensive policy. However, the successor of Stalin changed the significance as far as coexistence was concerned and the new view of coexistence laid on communism received further substance. This new concept gave Soviet Union another posture in the world's affairs.
