Depression Common in People with Chronic Cough.

The article discusses the research "Depression Common in People With Chronic Cough," submitted at the May 2005 American Thoracic Society International Conference which cites that more than half of people suffering with chronic cough also suffer from depressive symptoms. Researchers found that patients whose cough improved, have a significant reduction in depressive symptoms, while those whose cough did not get better showed no improvements in their depressive symptoms.
