  The article discusses on the proposed supplements in translating the lacunose texts of the poem “Nemean 9.17,” by Pindar. The author cited that several supplements have been presented but all of those supplements failed to establish appropriate meaning. A scholar has suggested that there is a possibility that an omission occurred at the end of line 17.
