The article provides information on topic related to blood pressure (BP) measurement in children. Validation of BP measurement techniques and devices has been recommended by experts in both Europe and the U.S. Pediatric experts recommend that BPs be measured annually in children from the age of 3 years through adolescence. Moreover, certain steps should be taken to prepare a child for BP measurement.
