    • Abstract:
The article focuses on an increasing number of Fusarium keratitis cases being reported in and outside the United States. As per the report released by the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), nearly 106 cases of Fusarium keratitis are confirmed from 32 U.S. states and territories. Out of these cases, 12 is the number of possible cases, and 80 is the number of cases still under investigation. Fusarium keratitis is an eye disease which is most common among the contact lens wearers. According to the CDC, any particular solution as being responsible for the outbreak of disease has not yet been identified.
