- Abstract:
  The article reports that the Departments of Motor Vehicles in several states in the U.S. have given careful attention to prevalent defective eyesight among motor drivers. Some officials are even convinced that the public ought not to wait to drive a car to test out the condition of their eyes. A visual test of 624 motor drivers at Syracuse, New York revealed that 484 had vision below normal.
