The article discusses on the emergence of sorcery in Papua New Guinea from 1938 to 1988. It provides information on the chronology of the travel of Sepik Patrol at Mt. Hagen, and the experiences of three white officers, Jim Taylor, John Black, and Pat Walsh, whom reportedly saw what they called the sky people, who were spirit driven by war or disaster from the sky.
