      The article discusses a Russian research which showed that feeding lab mice with transgenic tomatoes boost their immune response to hepatitis B and HIV infection. The scientists at the Scientific Centre of Virusology and Biotechnology are also planning to test transgenic carrots and other vegetables with vaccines against hepatitis A and encephalitis.
