      The article reports that Intel Corp. has announced that it plans to spend 1 billion dollar over the next five years to develop a low cost personal computers for use in developing countries and to deliver Internet access to businesses and residents in the U.S. Intel has asserted that it will develop new types of affordable personal computers, spread Internet connectivity through WiMax-based wireless broadband networks and train 10 million teachers to use the technologies. With its plan, Intel will contract with computer hardware manufacturers to build the new designs. The new technologies developed will be sold as part of the plan in countries such as Mexico, Brazil, Egypt, Ghana, India and Nigeria.
