Blackberry Inc. is being steamrolled by patent troll NTP Inc. in the U.S. Blackberry's e-mail service provider, Research In Motion, was sued for patent infringement in 2002. Similarly, Forgent Networks Inc., a former software developer has collected millions in licensing fees for the use of patented technology from Sanyo, Sony and other companies since 2002.
