The article reports on the ongoing robot research for use in farming and horticulture at the University of Warwick, England. A mushroom-picking robot capable of working 24 hours a day will be programmed to choose only mushrooms of the right size for picking. Multiple robot grass cutters all working simultaneously will be run by a sole employee via remote control. The remote control operation is only temporary. The control will be further developed by replacing it with a computer that will utilize data sensors attached to every mower.
