      The author relates his battle against the secret political force working for the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs. He was responsible for the freedom of the Signal Corps personnel from Soviet prisons as well as freeing other U.S. nationals in Russian territory. He found that Russian political strategy is geared to the belief that in case of conflict between the Soviet Union and other countries, civil war will erupt in that particular country.
