Inspiring our next community leaders

An Outward Bound course has helped inspire a rising generation of community leaders in West Auckland. The organisation ran Hiringa courses for students at its outdoor education school in Anakiwa in the Queen Charlotte Sound in April and October,. Seventeen-year-old Taryh-Mae Paterson-Rangitutia from Henderson High School, one of the students who attended Hiringa in April, spoke to donors and guests at a celebration evening marking the end of the course.
