The article focuses on the advice given by an admissions officer to successfully qualify students into college in the U.S. The dean of admissions provided some advices for parents to follow in order for their children to qualify, by ensuring that the child has started thinking about the kind of course he wants and what college he wants to attend. Furthermore, the dean stresses that it is not wise to count on a personal interview with an admissions officer to get their children in.
