BERMUDAGRASS.

The article presents information on Bermuda grass which is the most important and widely adapted of the warm-season turfgrasses. Bermuda grass is found and used throughout most of the warm, humid, tropical and subtropical regions of the world. It forms a very dense, uniform turf of high quality and is used for multiple applications across the southern U.S. It spreads quickly if it is in full sun, but this means that it is hard to keep from spreading into areas where no turf is wanted. An overview is given that shows how various varieties of Bermuda grass fared against each other in the U.S.
