The article reflects on the effort of Bishop William S. Skylstad, the president of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishop Inc., in recovering the credibility of the Catholic church. Bishop Skylstad stated that sex abuse crisis that has been haunting the church cannot be resolved and settled by money. He has called for allowing victims of abuse by priests to write about their experiences in the diocesan newspaper and has encouraged the people to refer them as victims and not as "alleged victims."
