Baby Boom Parents and Homosexuality: Continued Challenge for College Health Educators.

The article focuses on the views of college-educated baby boom parents and educators on homosexuality. The baby boomers' own parents rarely gave any specific information about homosexuality. The boomer generation, as parents, is managing to teach other sex education topics more successfully, but face problems while discussing issues based on homosexuality with their children. However, on their way to understanding and acceptance, these parents would want to lay out their concerns and get more information. Some baby boomers, even if they are not approving, show by their openness to communication and information that they will take the needed first steps in the direction of greater tolerance. College educators can play a vital role by discussing homosexuality issues with the adolescent children of the boomers.
