    • Abstract:
The article reports that United Nations' Commission on Human Rights (CHR) independent expert Dr. Arjun Sengupta recently issued a report highlighting the continuing links between poverty and race in the U.S. People living in poverty are now considered as subject to extreme deprivation of well-being, Sengupta notes in his report on the question of human rights and extreme poverty. The CHR expert said that a person's well-being is defined by various factors--income poverty, human development poverty and social exclusion.
