The article looks at the marketing services companies are turning to due to the rise of technologies that allow television viewers to skip advertisements. Chief Executive Officer Lee Weinblatt of the PreTesting Company developed a way to measure advertisement viewership. Services are emerging to evaluate television advertisement ratings. IAG Research Inc. is able to report which programs, product placements, and advertisements are watched.
