      This article presents information on the veal and the lamb meat industry in the U.S. It is reported that both the industries are restoring their product images and are strengthening their presence to draw a broader range of consumers. For instance, the veal industry announced its aim to expand veal's availability in casual-dining restaurants. Veal is mostly consumed by older people but now the industry is looking ways to attract young people. The article also refers to the economic study "Is the Return Greater than the Investment for the American Lamb Industry?," which was conducted by Texas A&M University. The results of the study show that the American Lamb Board's effort to promote lamb have increased the demand for lamb.
