- Abstract:
The article focuses on Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan's argument why he opposed the United States' invasion of Grenada. He recalls that he was informed about the planned invasion while attending a dinner given on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the founding of the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars. Moynihan claims that if the objective of the invasion was to rescue students, the U.S. might have a case under international law.
