This article focuses on the literary works of Olivia Coolidge of London, England. Educated in the classics at Oxford, Coolidge taught school in London before emigrating to the United States. She retold many of the famous epic tales from Greek and Roman mythology, such as Men of Athens (1962) and Lives of Famous Romans (1965).
