Natura Sustains Its Growth.

This article reports that Brazil's largest cosmetic company, Natura Inc., has embraced the concept of sustainable development. Sustainability for Natura embodies several concerns, promoting biodiversity found in Brazil's organically rich Amazon rain forest, supporting local communities through social outreach programs, and of course it refers to sustaining the company's double-digit growth rate. Natura's new Ekos's line contains Andiroba, Buriti, Passion Fruit, Brazil Nut, Macela do Campo, Chamomile, Pitanga, Mate Verde and Cocoa. Extracted from the Amazon forest, fields and Brazilian savannahs, the line's ingredients come from cultivation areas and extractive reserves registered at the Brazilian Environment and Natural Resources Institute.
