    • Abstract:
We describe an ST-elevation acute myocardial infarction involving the left main coronary artery in a middle-aged man who was treated by primary angioplasty with the use of sirolimus-eluting stents. To our knowledge, this is the 1st report of survival after sirolimus-eluting stent implantation in a patient with acute occlusion of the left main coronary artery. We discuss the case and review the literature. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
