The article presents information on some generic formulations that have been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for the first-time. Some of these are: desmopressin tablets 0.1 and 0.2 mg--equivalent to DDAVP tablets; isoniazid injection 100 mg/ml packaged in 10 ml multiple-dose vials--equivalent to Nydrazid injection; methimazole tablets 15 mg--equivalent to methimazole tablets; alclometasone cream 0.05%--equivalent to Aclovate cream; rifampin and isoniazid capsules 300/150 mg--equivalent to Rifamate capsules.
