- Additional Information
- Abstract:
A 59-year-old man experienced a lack of efficacy while being treated with immune-globulin and dexamethasone for asymmetric sensorimotor axonal polyneuropathy following a COVID-19 infection. Despite initial treatment with remdesivir, IV immune-globulin, and dexamethasone, his symptoms worsened, leading to a diagnosis of COVID-19-induced ANCA-associated vasculitis. Subsequent treatment included methylprednisolone, cyclophosphamide, and other medications, with regular follow-ups showing a gradual decrease in MPO-ANCA levels. [Extracted from the article]
