    • Abstract:
The Syrian history, extending from the French mandate until 1963, is full of internal political and military events, during which many political and military figures emerged who had an active role in the country, and among these figures was the leader Fawzi Selo, who began his military career since the 1920s, He became one of the most prominent Syrian military experts after independence, and his role as a leader in the country did not emerge even when he headed the highest authority in it, and that was because of his remarkable alliance with Adib al-Shishakli, starting with the appointment of Selo as Minister of Defense until he reached the positions of prime minister and presidency thanks to Shishakli’s military rule. • Abstract:
