- Additional Information
- Abstract:
A study conducted at the University of Mosul focused on the association between adiponectin levels, total antioxidant capacity, and insulin resistance in women with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). The research found that women with PCOS had lower levels of adiponectin and total antioxidant capacity, along with higher glucose and insulin levels and insulin resistance compared to healthy women. The study suggests that these factors may serve as predictive risk factors for PCOS in obese women with fewer symptoms. The full article can be accessed for further information.
