- Abstract:
The article focuses on the role of microalgae, specifically Microcystis aeruginosa and Chlorella vulgaris, in CO2 sequestration and sustainable domestic sewage bioremediation. It discusses how these microalgae can help mitigate CO2 emissions through photosynthesis and how they contribute to cleaning wastewater by removing harmful contaminants. It also evaluates the potential of these algae species in treating domestic sewage from the Tuikual river in Aizawl, Mizoram, India.
