- Abstract:
Scientific literacy is an important aspect to acquire to be active citizens who make informed choices in society. In Italy, science education is facing some critical issues both in the performance of the upper secondary school students and in teaching. The educational scenario presented here aims to improve students’ learning and attitude toward science, through collaborative activities supported by digital technologies. The results indicate that the approach used produced positive effects on students participating in the research, involving them in the activities and highlighting future research perspectives. La scientific literacy è fondamentale per essere cittadini attivi che compiono scelte consapevoli nella società. In Italia, l’educazione scientifica sta affrontando alcune criticità sia nel rendimento degli studenti della scuola secondaria superiore che nell’insegnamento. La sperimentazione didattica qui presentata si propone di migliorare l’apprendimento e l’attitudine degli studenti nei confronti della scienza, attraverso attività collaborative con le tecnologie. I risultati di questa ricerca mostrano che l’approccio utilizzato per l’insegnamento e apprendimento delle scienze ha prodotto effetti positivi sugli studenti partecipanti alla ricerca, coinvolgendoli nelle attività ed evidenziando future prospettive di ricerca.
