- Additional Information
- Abstract:
Researchers at the Department of Obstetrics conducted a study on preeclampsia, a serious pregnancy complication, aiming to identify transcriptome-wide intronic polyadenylation (IPA) events associated with the condition. By analyzing gene expression levels and IPA events in samples from patients with preeclampsia, they found enrichment of IPA events in the VEGFA-VEGFR2 signaling pathway. The study suggests that transcriptome data-mining could be a valuable approach for identifying potential biomarkers for preeclampsia. The research was published in Heliyon and can be accessed for free online. [Extracted from the article]
