Abu Hatim, Abu Zur'ah, and Ibn Abi Hatim Attribution of Hadith to A Defect that has no Meaning, and The Like: An Applied Study on The Reasons for Hadith by Ibn Abi Hatim,. (English)

The word “meaningless” was mentioned in book “Ilal al-Hadith” by Ibn Abi-Hatim in his question to his father and Abu-Zar’ah, thirty-three places, twenty-eight times by Abi-Hatim, one-time by Abu-Zur’ah, one time by both of them, and three times by Ibn-Abi-Hatim. Each of them has its own significance, and through extrapolation of places several implications became clear, including: denial of narration and hearing, misrepresentation, disgrace, weakness, illusion, denial of hearing, message link, ignorance, lifting of suspended sentence, and uniqueness and strangeness. As a result, one of the phrase used to reveal the cause is “it-has-no-meaning” and its connotations are multiple. Ibn Abi-Hatim is the only one who used it regarding the occurrence and use of this phrase. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

ورد لفظ "لا معنى له" في كتاب علل الحديث لابن أبي حاتم في سؤاله لأبيه وأبي زرعة؛ خمسا وثلاثين (35) مرة، جاءت من قول أبي حاتم تسعا وعشرين (29) مرة، ومن قول أبي زرعة مرة واحدة، ومن قولهما معا مرة، ومن قول ابن أبي حاتم أربع (4) مرات، وفي كل موضع من تلك المواضع كانت له دلالته الخاصة، ومن خلال استقراء تلك المواضع تبين لي عدة دلالات منها نفي الرواية والسماع ومنها : الدلالة على مخالفة الثقات. ومنها: الدلالة على التصحيف، ومنها: الدلالة على الترجيح. ومنها: الدلالة على الجهالة ونتج عن ذلك أن من الألفاظ المستعملة في الكشف عن العلة بقولهم "لا معنى له" ودلالاتها المتعدد والمختلفة. وانفراد علل الحديث لابن أبي حاتم في ورود واستخدام هذه الجملة.
