    • Abstract:
Researchers at Quaid-i-Azam University in Islamabad, Pakistan, have developed an intranasal transfersomal-based in situ gel to enhance the bioavailability and brain delivery of Methylphenidate, a central nervous system stimulant drug. The optimized transfersomes showed promising physicochemical properties and improved brain bioavailability compared to orally administered Methylphenidate solution. This study, supported by King Saud University, highlights the potential of intranasal drug delivery systems for enhancing the efficacy of CNS agents like Methylphenidate. [Extracted from the article]
